Osprey Technologies was contracted by ESA (Engineering Science Analysis) to fabricate the carbon fiber composite backing plates for the arms of the prototype SQUID (Safe – Quick – Undercarriage – Immobilization – Device).

Osprey later assisted with the backing plates of the self-deploying spike strip (aka SQUID Strip) which became known as the “VIPER.”
